Terms of service
These terms cover UniClip – Universal Clipboard, the app for Android, iPhone and iPad with its web app and browser extension, made by KharagEdition, and this website. Using any of them means you accept them.
What UniClip is
It sends text you choose from one of your devices to your others, through our servers. It is not a backup. Free clips disappear after 1 minute, so never keep the only copy of anything important in it.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple in the phone and tablet app. A browser or extension you link by scanning its QR code acts for your account until you remove it or it signs out. Keep your devices and those accounts secure: you are responsible for what is sent from your account and from the browsers you link. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
What you send
The text you send stays yours. You give us permission to store it and deliver it to your devices, which is all we use it for. You agree not to use UniClip to:
- send anything illegal, or anything you have no right to share;
- harass, threaten or spam anyone;
- spread malware, or try to break, overload or get around the app's limits or security.
We may remove clips and suspend access that break these rules.
Clips are encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end-to-end. Do not send passwords, card numbers or anything like them.
Plans and subscriptions
Free costs nothing and shows a small ad in the phone and tablet app. Free clips hold up to 200 characters and disappear after 1 minute. Pro is $0.99 / week, or $2.99 / month, shown in your store's local currency before you confirm. Pro clips hold up to 100,000 characters and do not expire. It is billed by Google Play or the App Store, whichever you subscribed through.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Manage or cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account. We cannot cancel a store subscription for you, and deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by the store, under its own policy.
- When Pro ends you go back to Free: clips you saved stay, and new clips follow the Free limits.
Availability
We work to keep UniClip running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, or that every clip will arrive. We may change features and limits over time.
Limits
UniClip is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost clips, arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using UniClip and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes
If these terms change, we will post the new version here with a new date before it takes effect. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
